New life goal

With the arrival of my fifties and a closer look at what I do, I suddenly realized that it no longer makes sense. Time is passing, my children are at an age of curiosity, and spending day after day in front of a computer solving problems that ultimately do not matter feels exhausting and unfulfilling.

With the rise of AI, the work of a programmer has changed significantly. Less code is being written, while more time is devoted to testing, documentation, and learning. The outcome remains the same, but it is often achieved faster, with less human intervention and a higher degree of automation.

I therefore decided to focus on my own projects—ideas I have always wanted to bring to life. Today, an AI agent can serve as an experienced colleague, fundamentally changing the dynamics of a development team. I have found that AI can teach me a great deal and open the door to areas that would once have been too time-consuming to explore. At the same time, these applications bring real value to me.

I have decided to return to what I began studying at university—diving deeper into AI, which is gradually becoming a new “kind” of entity. If humanity fails to manage it, it may even become our successor. I am fascinated by the possibilities it offers. In the coming year, I plan to focus more on training models and applying them in everyday life.

I also intend to make use of my upcoming knee surgery, scheduled for April 1st, and dedicate my recovery period to further education in this field.

I am looking forward to it. See you soon in my upcoming posts from this next chapter of my journey. Stay tuned.
